Here at BCV!

We know it's booked solid, but it's not noisy or crowded. Having a great time! We are in a studio. We were able to clothes earlish this morning...after 7:30 no wait.

One out of 2 requests were met, we are near main elevators, facing EPCOT, not canal. CM at checkin was very helpful, asked which was more important. We attended Welcome Home Wednesday yesterday, participated and received DVC hats with a cute little giraffe on it.

I do enjoy our DVC stays!

Thanks, Bobbi! Glad to hear a positive report about BCV, it seems to be getting negative reports lately but I always enjoyed it. My only complaint? The halls are FREEZING! Hope we'll see each other in a few days. We'll be in the Magic Kingdom with our little Snow White Sunday. I hear the forecast is for great weather-let's hope!

Glad you are enjoying your trip! We are heading to BCV in December. It will be our second time staying there. Really looking forward to being there for a week!

I tried to edit....what we did was wash clothes!no problem that Thrsday morning around 7AM!

2 requests...1 near lobby elevators, 2 canal view. We are near elevators, but with a woods view that also shows the high fireworks from Illuminations. No complaints at all! We arrived a bit before noon, and got a text that the room was ready around 2! We were at Welcome Home Wednesday and I got game participation pin.

We also got hats with Animal Kingdom theme, tan in color with a small giraffe as decoration.

We enjoy some of the food kiosks...I do not like the current Austalian lamb chop, I preferred it last year, more basic. Tom and I both like the griddled Greek cheese with honey and pistachios! He always likes Canada Cheddar Cheese soup and their little filet, and he was pleased with them again.
We went to cooking demo...delicious Shrimp and Grits...chef James Boyce and will go to another demo tomorrow.

We have thoroughly enjoyed this BCV stay, but here it is Saturday PM, and well..we need to do laundry again ( it has rained quite a bit...need to wash clothes again) and no empty machines.

We are off to the villa pool now!

Darn those trees keep growing – making it harder and harder to see the fireworks. Whenever I have stayed there I seem to get a room in the same area. Enjoy your stay.

Jumping in on this thread (sorry, bobbi!), but we were just there last week. My five recommendations for F&W:
1) Disagree on lamb chop. Not as good as before but still better than most other kiosks.
2) Pepper shrimp in China
3) Fisherman's pie from Ireland
4) Lamb meatball from New Zealand--best of the bunch!
5) Empanada from Patagonia, but ask for sauce.
