Just got back last week from another wonderful trip to WDW. Here are my reviews on the theme park restaurants/counter service. I will review resort dining separately. Of course, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to post them!
Animal Kingdom-
Chakranadi Chicken Shop: I *still* havent gotten over the loss of the chicken satay from this place! Anyway, I decided to try the pot stickers, which are served in a spicy broth. They were good, but VERY spicy. I wasnt really prepared for the level of spiciness. You get 3 or 4 pot stickers in a little bowl of broth. The broth was a little oily, which I wasnt expecting either. Overall, a decent light meal/snack, but I dont know if I would try them again.
Harambe Fruit Market: Besides individual pieces of fruit, they also sell fruit and cheese platters, veggies and dip, and stuff like that. Just something to keep in mind if you want something healthy and a bit more unusual for a theme park. I had a dish of kiwis and strawberries. The fruit was delicious, very juicy.
Epcot-
Chefs de France, dinner: My dad was able to come to WDW with us for one day, so we took him to Epcot and had dinner in France. My dad selected the French Menu, a $24.95 prix fixe that included French onion soup, rotisserie chicken, and crème brulee. My boyfriend and I both had the hangar steak which came with freshly cut French fries. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The only negative aspect to the meal was that our table was very close to the table next to ours. The French onion soup was topped with Gruyere cheese and was the best Id ever tasted. It wasnt awfully salty like all of the others Ive tasted previously. My dad enjoyed his chicken, which came with tomatoes and potatoes. The steak was excellent, albeit a small piece. The French fries were perfect! And of course, the crème brulee was delicious.
Kringla og Bakeri, Norway: We decided to sample the sweet almond pretzel, as wed heard a lot about it here on the DIS. We liked it enough, but wouldnt get it again. We didnt know that it wasnt actually a pretzel, but rather a pretzel shaped Danish-like pastry with raisins, with sweet icing and thinly sliced almonds coating the outside.
Refreshment Post, near Germany: My boyfriend got a waffle cone filled with mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was delicious, very creamy. The price isnt bad either, for $3 you get a large waffle cone filled with ice cream.
Rose and Crown Pub, UK: We stopped in here one afternoon for a break and got black and tans, and shandies (Sprite and lager). Good drinks, great atmosphere. We met a terrific family who lived just a couple of hours from WDW.
Sommerfest, Germany: My boyfriend got a smoked ham sandwich for lunch one day. It comes on pretzel bread with lettuce, etc. on top. He also got a side of sauerkraut. He enjoyed the sandwich; I ended up eating most of the sauerkraut, LOL. Its really good, with chunks of ham in it. On another day we came here for a pretzel and a side of sauerkraut. Their pretzels are tasty, they remind me of the pretzel bread in Canada.
Teppanyaki, Japan, dinner: We actually had a lunch PS here, but missed it and came back for an early dinner. We were lucky to be seated with two very nice families and spoke with them throughout the entire meal. My boyfriend decided that he didnt feel like having the teppan meal, so he ordered a salad with ginger dressing and a couple of sushi rolls, California and spicy tuna. He enjoyed his food. I sampled a roll and thought it was okay, just not as good as other places. I had green tea and the chicken and shrimp combination. (Just as a side note, on Debs site it says that salad is included as part of the meal, but they do not give that anymore. The waitress said it was because of new management.) Kenta was our chef and he was very entertaining. The food was very good; I think its better than Benihanas or any of those typical chains. We had Udon noodles, bean sprouts, vegetables, and our entrees. I found the portion to be very big; I could not finish all of my chicken.
Yorkshire County Fish Shop, UK: We had fish and chips here for lunch. Very yummy. The chips are large and thick, and the fish is perfectly battered. I could go for an order right now, actually!
MGM-
Toluca Legs Turkey Company: We split a turkey leg for lunch one day. We didnt eat it the fun, traditional way, though. We decided to cut it up and only eat the good meat parts. We found that we enjoyed that way more than eating all the yucky chewy parts that inevitably come as part of the turkey leg experience.
Magic Kingdom-
Aloha Isle: Although it was freezing cold out that day, we split a chocolate/pineapple Dole Whip diet coke float. Yummy and well worth it in the cold!
Columbia Harbour House: My boyfriend got what I usually get, the Garden Galley Salad. It comes with mixed greens, grilled chicken, pineapple, and feta cheese. It is an excellent salad. I decided to try the Coral Reef Sandwich, which is whole grain bread with hummus, tomatoes, and broccoli slaw. It came with a small bag of kettle-cooked potato chips. I enjoyed the sandwich, particularly the hint of sweetness that came from both the tomatoes and the slaw.
Pinocchios Village Haus: We ate here a couple of times. I just love watching the boats from Its a Small World go by! One time we split Strombolis Chicken Garden Salad, which comes with mixed greens, grilled chicken, peaches, walnuts, and bleu cheese. Similar to the Garden Galley at Columbia Harbour House, with a couple of different flavors. We enjoyed it. Another time we split an order of Figaro Fries-one of my favorite bad-for-you indulgences. For the uninitiated, these are French fries covered in melted cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and Ranch dressing. Absolutely sinful and delicious! My boyfriend also ordered a hamburger, which he enjoyed. To me, they just remind me of Burger King, not a favorite.
Sleepy Hollow: Java junkies should go to Sleepy Hollow for espresso. Its actually decent, and you get a lot. At least 2-3 shots worth for $2.49. Not bad for WDW!
Downtown Disney-
Ghiradelli: We just couldnt pass up their frozen banana dipped in chocolate and almonds. Scrumptious!
Wolfgang Puck Café: We stopped in here for some sushi one afternoon. We didnt feel like sitting at the sushi bar, so we were at a regular table. I had the edamame and a spicy tuna roll and my boyfriend had a spicy tuna roll and a California roll. The edamame was good, the same thing you get anywhere, really. The rolls were excellent. You might not think of Wolfgang Puck for sushi, but I love it there.

Thanks for the reviews, I can't wait to get there!
