I'm about 6 weeks away from making our priority seatings and I've put a basic itinerary together. It will be me, hubby, and 3 sons ages 10, 12 and 14. They have voracious appetites and will eat just about anything. I have a list of must do/might do restaurants. This is our first trip and I'd like to hear advice on the the ones I've chosen; we'll be there 9 full days. If there are any others anyone feels I should definitely add that are don't miss, let me know. Thanks!:D

Breakfast must do:
Fresh
Cape May Cafe

Breakfast might do:
Kona Cafe
Boma

Lunch must do:
Beaches and Cream

Lunch might do:
Sci-Fi Dine In
50's Prime Time Cafe
Fresh

Dinner must do:
Boma
Ohana
Cape May Cafe
Chef Mickey
Whispering Canyon

Dinner might do:
Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic! dinner pkg.)
Mama Melrose (Fantasmic! dinner pkg.)
I'm having a hard time deciding whether to do the pkg., and if so, which restaurant to eat at.

I love Boma for Breakfast. I would put it on my must do list for breakfast.
Everything looks good. I hope you don't go broke feeding those boys of yours!;) All you can eat is probably your best bet.

We have three boys, think you should move Sci fi to a must do.. The Boys have always loved it, now it's always on someones list for a pick. Campy and fun, try it for lunch or late afternoon shakes.

Boma is great for filling up those guys, they really enjoyed trying the different pods.

Have a great trip!!

Ok, that's 2 votes for Boma breakfast and Sci-Fi Dine In. Samantha, you're right, all-you-can-eat can be expensive but they're big eaters, so it ends up being pretty cost effective in the long run.:p

Castillo Mom,

I would go for the Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Package. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. And of course, just walking in and sitting down is a beautiful thing! It is the most cost effective package choice and is surprisingly good food especially considering we are not buffet fans.

Nine days! Lucky you!!!

We ate at Fresh twice in Dec. and loved it both times. We also eat breakfast at least once on every trip at Kona Cafe, we love there Tonga Toast.

I would recommend that you do 50's Prime Time, it is a great place to eat with kids. The pot roast is very good here.

Mama Melrose is a great place to eat but I would skip the Fantasmic Package, it is a waste of extra money. As long as you get to Fantasmic at least 45 minutes early you will get a great seat, it seats thousands.

Chef Mickeys is a great place for dinner or B'fast.

Iwould recommend O'Hanas also if you have the time, the food is really great and it is a fun place for kids.

Castillo Mom - Boma used to be one of my favorite places for breakfast - but I went to Cape may for the first time on my last trip- and that is now in first place (10 years, over 30 trips to Disney, and I had never been to Cape may for B-fast if you can believe it!) - Cape May has a wider variety of breakfast foods - some of which were super-yummy (and Krispy-kreme donuts for the kids) - plus characters. Boma is still yummy -but I would pick Cape May above it.

Also - regarding Fresh - they have a "brunch" on Weekends - so you could do breakfast AND lunch all in one meal - save room for their desserts - they're grand! (call the dolphin to inquire to the hours - since I don't remember).

Ooh, I didn't know Fresh had a brunch! I'm going to have to check that out.

Thank you all for the info. Keep the suggestions coming!

Im really happy to have 6 of my bigger meals already paid for and if we keep charging on our Disney Visa--maybe it will be 7 ;)

with the all you can eat option, but not buffet it may be great. It also has a fun atmosphere for families, but without characters, (which based on your choices, seems unimportant to your boys). Consider it. Location wise, it is convenient for lunch or dinner on MK days.
