We will be down the week before Easter next year. 3 kids, will be 17, turning 14, and 10, so we're all "adults" on the DDP, which we plan to get (it's worked out well the last 3 trips). I wanted to piece our trip together for that ADR time, whether it be 6 months out or later....so here are my choices:
1) Chef Mickey's--we do this every trip and get the photo to compare, so not an option to skip (I tried).
2) Boma (new to us)
3) Plaza at MK (out of pocket)
4) Raglan Road (new)
5) Le Cellier
6) 50s PTC (kids pick--this day is DD#2's 14th bday)
7) Narcoosee's on Easter (new to us)

We tried Ragland Road for the first time this August. Really enjoyed it! Loved the Shepard's Pie, and the bread pudding, but try the pudding before you pour on the accompanying sauces. The sauces are sweet (carmel and a sweet cream), but the bread pudding is already sweet, so you may not need (as much as I dumped on! LOL).

Have always enjoyed Narcoossee's (cheesecake, wow).

And I am disappointed to say - as much as I love AKL and the whole African experience there, we have not done well at Boma. It is loud - which bothers me terribly - and we've twice found ourselves sticking with the kid's pod for food. The desserts, however, and the pressed pot of coffee are almost worth eating a plate full of chicken nuggets.

Can you tell I love desserts!!!

LOL I love desserts too. We have Boma early on in the trip so if we are disappointed it will be OK.
DH actually wanted california grill but I showed him the photo thread about it and he was not impressed, so we looked at reviews of narcoosees and decided to try Easter there instead. I can't wait to try that almond crusted cheesecake.

Boma is usually the only non signature we do for dinner and we eat at Boma opening night every trip. To me it's not any noisier than Coral Reef, Le Cellier or any other of those types of restaurants. I hope you enjoy it. If you are adventurous, you will fine many fun things to try. Do not pass over the soups as that is always a great variety at Boma.

We are not fans of Narcoosees. We love fish/seafood and Flying Fish is one of our WDW favs but our visits to Narcoosees have left us underwhelmed. Many people on these boards seem to love it though but I mostly hear them talk about the surf n turf rather than the other seafood options.

And those smores at 50s are my fav dessert at WDW, even over the selections at V&A's. :rotfl:
