Looks great. I might try a TS at Epcot instead of two CS. That is my only comment. I love Epcot TS, like Coral Reef, GG, and Teppan Edo. :goodvibes

I agree. It would be well worth it to try and fit in a TS in Epcot. The best food in the World is there. :goodvibes

agree....I have some lunches and dinners there planned because I can't narrow down where to eat... Nine Dragons is going under refurb for a few mos, but other than that, take your pick.

I feel bad that you have to eat CS all during your Hollywood Studios day, since it is the absolute worst CS park!

My advice would be - if you'd like a break from the park and the kids are feeling up to it - to take the boat from HS over to the Boardwalk, or one of the Epcot resorts and eat there (try the Fountain at the Dolphin). Then take the boat back to HS for more fun. You don't need a hopper to do this.

The rest of your meals look fun!

Have a great trip.

thank you! We were going to do the deluxe plan and were thinking Coral Reef for dinner... I will have to reconsider what to do for Epcot. Do you all have CS that you like there?

As for MGM- I know what you mean.. not so great CS! We are thinking doing Toy Story Pizza for a very early lunch (we had a horrible time there though the last time-- more due to the time and crowd than the food).. and then for dinner we might just zip over to DTD and do WPE. MGM is not our favorite-- we can't do Fantasmic because our girls are afraid of fireworks and scaredy cats in general... and it is EMH, so we figure we would have time to eat dinner somewhere else and then go and see the Osbourne Lights later.

thanks again-- Jen

You could always do Sci-Fi for lunch at HS. It's one of our favorites.

OP Has an Epcot TS, Akershaus. There are some unique CS meal options in the world showcase so I think two CS that day could be great for you. If you decide to leave Epcot for a meal and you plan to pay OOP anyway consider Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club.

I would ABSOLUTELY book the Disney Playhouse meal at DHS (ie. MGM). Your children are the perfect age and it may be the best character meal for your 20 month old. I"m taking my 6yo nepew there in August. We had to cancel last year, but won't miss it this time. It is available for either breakfast or lunch. We are doing Epcot in the morning then heading over to DHS for lunch around 1pm.

On your CRT day since breakfast is late you probably won't need lunch. Same may be true on your AK/MVMCP day, depending on how early you eat dinner. My nephew loved the Uncrustable PB&J sandwiches. You may want to grab one or two from Roaring Forks and have them handy as lite bites for them while you're in the park. Probably just enough to take the edge off for them before your next TS meal. At MK I know you can get them at the Main Street Bakery. In fact you may be able to use a CS credit to get two plus milk. :thumbsup2 in any event they're pretty inexpensive, maybe $2 each.

I''m not drawn to WCC, but I can see the ease as it is your home base. Consider Trails End Buffet as it is close to home as well and you could time it to stay for the campfire/movie and still get "home" easily when its done. You'll still get the angst of fun of WCC on your departure morning, but you'll miss any gotta have dinner menu items.

There are several good CS places. I like Sunshine Seasons for variety, healthy choices, and the bakery.

We ate at Toy Story Pizza (for the kids) last year. We got there when it opened and the line was not bad at all. We enjoyed it.

I am trying the DxDP this year. We are going in August. I think it may help give us breaks from heat, lines, and fast food. I tend to get kind of Rambo, so it will hopefully slow me down a bit--at least enough to get my kids fed. :rotfl:

Have a great trip.

:sad2: We could possibly do the Hollywood and Vine instead of the Donald breakfast.. hmm..

What do you all think? Our littlest is still 14 months-- she will be 20 months when we go.. I am afraid though that her older sisters don't watch much playhouse Disney anymore-- they do love House of Mouse.. but are more into the Cartoon Network now :sad1:

Have any of you done Donalds and H&V? Which is better?

THANKS!

I had similar angst last summer. When I casually brought up the Little Einsteins to my then 5yo nephew he said, oh yea they're cute. Same thing for Jo Jo's Circus. Well we went to a PHD dance party during MGM EMH and he lost his little mind. He loved the characters, was near the front of the congo line and cried when I told him it was time to go. I think even at 5 and 7 yours will enjoy it. Go over to the restaurant review board and see if you can find reviews. The ones I saw last summer were gushing, with cute photos of littles one smiling & shaking their booties.

I can't speak for the Donald's breakfast except I think Daisy is usually there and you won't get her at Chef Mickey's.

Keep in mind you could trade off any TS to fit in H&V...LTT, WC, 'Ohana, etc.

We have DD7 who is now into the disney channel shows like hannah Montana and such but we went to Hollywood and Vine for our DS who was 10 months old last trip. Both of them LOVED it and DD put it on the list of things we must do again this year.
