I wanted to season some chicken breasts and bake them but don't know exactly what to use...I was thinking about rosemary and some garlic(maybe w/ some olive oil)?

Does anyone know of something easy - I've been sick all week and don't feel like taking the kids to the grocery store!

Thank you!

take some bread and mix egg and water and some poultry seasoning...smoosh it all up and if it is a bone in breast ...put the stuffing in that area and rub some of the poultry seasoning on the outside.....I do it either that way with bone in or roll a boneless skinless breast around the stuffing.....kids always liked this way

I didn't add this one to the OAMC thread because I use fresh rosemary in it so I usually make it fresh. It's oh-so-good, though! This has been a favorite of ours for years! :teeth: BTW - I always use lemon pepper instead of regular black pepper.

Rosemary Chicken
4 - 6 chicken breasts (halves)
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp rosemary, fresh or
1 tsp rosemary, dry
1 Tbl dijon mustard
1 Tbl lemon juice
2 Tbl olive, oil
¾ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 tsp lemon rind (opt)
Mix & coat chicken. Marinate ½ to 4 hours. Bake or grill.

Pumba - looks good but I don't have all those ingredients....sounds delicious.

Piratesmate - Perfect! Exactly what I had in mind.... Thank you very much, the family can thank you tonight!

Oh! Herbs & spices that go with chicken .... tarragon, thyme, sage, rosemary, garlic, cinnamom (have you ever eaten at the Moroccan restaurant at EPCOT?), lemon pepper, ... yummy!!

CHICKEN BREASTS WITH WINE

6 or 8 boned, skinned chicken breast halves
4 chopped green onion
2 pt. fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. dry white wine

Brown chicken in butter and place in shallow baking pan. Saute onion and mushrooms in pan where chicken was browned. Add white wine to onion and mushrooms. Bring to boil, pour and spoon over chicken breasts. Bake 3/4 hour at 350 degrees. Cover if getting too brown.
