Henna Tattoos?

I really want a henna tattoo when we go down to WDW. I know you can get them done at EPCOT, but can you get them done anywhere else,like the boardwalk? Also, what are the price ranges?

I had one done at Epcot (Morocco)! It was around $25.00 they had lots to cose from! It lasted about a week! I plan on doing another! Epcot is the only place I have seen them done!

I think they ranged from around $10 (realy basic)-$50.

I believe I paid $40 for two tatoos. Here's a picture of DDs after a few days. I believe this one was $15. My mom's was bigger and I think I paid $25 for hers.

That is cute!! Bring Vaseline to put over the henna when you swim so it'll last longer.

I'm not sure it would be a problem. I had a small one done earlier this summer at a fair and it seemed waterproof to me. I showered with it and it stayed.

Maybe they do it at the Boardwalk? That would seem like a logical place. But I don't know.

Proper henna should only be brown/orangey. That is what henna is.

If they are black, it is using a dye that is not good for you.

Yes - I can confirm they do NOT have them at HS, near RnRC.

Yes, she does the hand as well as the foot. I don't remember her name, but she has been doing this for years in the Morocco Pavilion. She has the henna sent over from Morocco. My henna tattoos have lasted up to 2 weeks. I get at least one each time I am in WDW.

ps: she also does freestyle if you ask. I gave her a an approx. size I wanted and she made up a design... sorry I don't have any pics available at the moment to share her work.

I just came back from staying at the Boardwalk and I did not see any Henna tattoo places there. Only in EPCOT, my 3 dd's got them there, the women was great and fast! It was $50 for all three, my 2 dd's got them over their inner wrist and one my other dd got her's on the top of her foot. Personally I like the one on the foot the best, and it seemed to hold up better. They are still on and are over a week old and they did plenty of pool time! Remember do not pick at them for the first day!!

I got a henna in Morocco last year. I had it around my wrist and it meant "elegance". It lasted for over 2 weeks and it was $20 I think. I can't wait to get another one but maybe over my hand this time!

they won't rub off under water but they will fade quicker if you don't put vaseline on them while swimming or showering
