Well in spite of what you were hoping Gepetto, it is not made from ground up witches.

It is actually a shrub which also goes by the name Spotted Alder.
North American Indians used it as a poultice for swelling and tumors.

I've never tried it for hemorroids.

My obstetrician recommends not letting yourself become constipated in order to prevent them.
