I feel stupid for not knowing this answer, but I always use a TA and my friend is asking a questions about Magical Express...

She is staying at Saratoga Springs, she booked it through a friend of hers who has DVC.

Can she use ME to Saratoga springs?
If so, how and who does she notify that she needs ME?


Her DH and DS are joining her a few days later. they land at 11PM Can they also use ME?

Anyone who's staying at a WDW resort can use ME. I think that she has to have her friend set it up though, since she's staying on her friend's DVC points. Her DS and DH can definitely use it as well.

Everyone listed on the reservation can use DME for one trip from the airport and one trip back to the airport during the time they are registered, so all can use DME. Assuming this is a DVC reservation using her friend's points, the friend will need to contact DVC member services to make the appropriate DME reservations. It's important to note that you cannot use DME without a reservation, so they will need to make sure the friend makes that call to set it up for them.
