Hi all, I am planning our 2nd Disney Cruise for February and got all my info out from our first Cruise in 2002 and thought I would jot down a few things that I did and didn't do to help anyone out.
1) My children brought with them a small notebook and got as many characters to autograph it (loved looking back and reminiscing).
2) Can't enforce enough to bring highlighters (invaluable)
3) I also did a little pre-planning last time and bought white pillowcases, downloaded lots of Disney graphics and then printed them on Iron-on transfers, and then ironed them on the pillow case. I gave the pillow cases to our Steward and he put them on the pillows for our children. They were so surprised. They even took their pillow cases down to get autographs on.
3) I also purchased a beanie baby for each child (their favorite character) and one day had it placed on their pillow.
4) Pack a carry-on bag with your swimsuit, after you board and grab a quick bite to each, find a restroom and everyone get your suits on. We did this and enjoyed being the first in the pools for at least 45 minutes.
5) If you have older kids bring post-it notes, they left messages on our door or on the mirror in the cabins telling us where they were and what time they would be back. I loved this!
If I think of anymore I'll surely be posting.
Anyone else going on the Feb. 6-10 Wonder Cruise. I have triplets that are 15 (g,g,b) and a 10 yr old (g). Would love to meet up with some new friends.
