We had not planned on doing the lunch with Cinderella at Magic Kingdom, but I'm starting to think maybe we should. My DD 5 is really into the princesses and I'm so worried we won't see her in the park......is she wondering around? Or does she only show at the character dinings?

I have a few questions though:

1. What is the attire? Is it fancy? I'm worried because I would hate to have to wear dressy clothes all day unless we went back to the hotel to change?

2. Do you think its too late to get a reservation, we would need it for this SAT.

3. I cannot find the number to make the reservation, does anyone happen to have it?

4. Will my DS 9 do ok? Or is it super girly? I was thinking maybe DH and DS could do something else while me and DD do Cinderella.

TIA!!

I haven't eaten there yet (2 weeks!!) but you can find some of the Princesses at the Judge's Tent in Toontown. We saw Cinderella but she was the only princess we saw last summer, we were rushed to go on all the rides. This time I'm going to hunt Sleeping Beauty down or we can't leave :rotfl:

Because the restaurant is in the park, I think any park attire would be fine. The boys might like it too just because of the atmosphere. I don't know about trying to get an ADR this late but there may be cancellations! I'd try at least. The number is 407-WDW-DINE

Good luck!

Park attire is fine although my neices always wear their princess dresses over their shorts for fun. Your son will like it. There will be lots of men and boys. If you don't have ADR's just try walking up as soon as you get to the park. Good luck!! There are princesses at Norway too in Epcot if you can't get in. :earsboy:

I ate lunch at the Castle a couple of years ago. Cinderella was sitting on her throne when we came in but was gone when we left. I saw a couple of princesses walking through, but that's what they basically did . . . walk through. I believe they were just leaving their photo opportunities and were just passing through to go to the back. :earboy2:

It was awesome, though. I was totally surprised by the menu. I expected "kiddie" things like hot dogs and hamburgers. Imagine my surprise when I could order much more elaborate items, such as a fancy coated fish and fresh vegetables . . . with the price tag to match. :teeth:

Would I do it again? Yep! I plan on doing so in one of my future trips. :flower:

We haven't been yet, but we're taking dd 2, ds 9 and ds 12 in September. The boys are totally fine with it. I'm the one who's most excited - not for the princesses, but to eat in the castle!
