Okay...I am freaking out a bit here because things for our VR seem to be going all wrong. First off, my parents and sister have decided to forego our VR (which they were happy about before) so they can take another cruise instead (just got back from one 2 weeks ago). They are not going until next September, but do not want to spend the $$ to go to Disney so they can save for that. Since that is the case, they were taking my aunt and uncle down too, so now they will be unable to attend (they will not fly and are getting up there to drive themselves). Now we are not going to have some of our most loved ones for our most special day (didn't have a really great wedding, to say the least!) And this cuts down considerably on our guest list (27 people to 13). I bought centerpieces and invites and gifts already for everyone which we will not be able to use now. (My mom said not to bother sending invites to any of them as they will not be attending now).
Then we were going to have a videographer and when they went to send us the contracts, they said they made a mistake and that the price we were quoted was wrong and that it was $300 more to do it on Saturday. (I don't want to name them as they are very reputable and it was an honest mistake on their part.) So we figured we would go with our second choice (we were trying to cut costs here) and contacted STVS again. Well, as you can guess, they are booked now for our date now.
Then I got an e-mail today from my EM (we are having our VR at the Swan). I asked her a while ago about Randy Chapman to do our photography. She said he was one of their photographers and she would set it up. Lo and behold...now he is not available! She told me to go to their website and pick out another photographer style to use at our VR. We are really confused about the different styles (traditional, photojournalist, modern, etc.) and have no idea who or what to choose.
Could anyone give us names of good photographers around Disney or explain the different techniques? When we got married you stood in front of the camera and smiled and they snapped the pics. Also, any good videographers? I really love the things some of them do with the beginning and ending to make it "Disney."
Thanks for listening to my ramblings. Its just that it all seems to have hit at once! You guys are the best.
