Visiting UO this Thurs., Fri., and Sat. Staying at the PBH. What is
the local forecast for those days? Please, will someone local save
me from sitting in front of the Weather Channel all day? This will
be our first not-summer get away!

Thanks!
Shawn

Shawn, how about weather.com or accuweather.com? Just put the town or zip code in and you are set. No sitting in front of the tv all day, you need to pack!

Wed

Thu
Dec 04 Few Showers 78°/60°

Fri
Dec 05 Few Showers 82°/49°

There ya go :) And to be honest with you, I'm REALLY happy about the cooler weather....it's rare down here! :)

Thank you all for your help! Stepharoonie, the weather has changed so quickly here in Phila. in fact, just came back from last minute trip shopping and it is like February out there. We are
expecting 18 degrees tonight. So I can not wait to jump on that jet and get to your wonderful sunny state!

Thanks again to you all!

Shawn

While it HAS been sunny, it's been cooler to me lately. This past Saturday, the high was only in the 50's. Everyone was pretty much wearing heavy windter coats, etc....THAT'S cold to us :)

I have no heat (or air) in my car, so the past two mornings and evenings driving home, my hands are like ice. This weekend promises to be just as chilly, so I'm gonna have to break out the heavy duty sweatshirts :) Hehehe :)

In my LMT class there's a guy who just moved down from Colorado. He says he's loving the weather and he gives funny looks to the people who bundle up when he's able to roam around in just regular clothes.

I have a feeling Shawn will be the same way. But bring something just-in-case. :)

DM, For me it took a good year at a new climate to adjust and start feeling like a local. We moved to Maryland from Texas and the first summer everyone complained about the heat and it felt cool to me. We had moved to Texas from Virginia and winter seemed so mild. We'd moved to Virginia from Wisconsin and Virginia seemed warm in the winter. I was never able to adjust to the winter in Wisconsin. We were there only two years, but miserably cold is cold no matter how you look at it.

T&B

Well, it appears the weather is going to be a TAD different this weekend....updated forecast is as follows:

Today
Dec 03 PM Showers 75°/60°
Thu
Dec 04 Partly Cloudy 80°/61°
Fri
Dec 05 Scattered Showers 77°/44°
Sat
Dec 06 Partly Cloudy 57°/39°
Sun
Dec 07 Mostly Sunny 64°/42°

I'm sure these will change again :)

I've been known to weather sweaters at 75 degree weather. I was born and raised in Florida, so anything under 80 is a little chilly to me :)

Yeah I agree with DM if u live somewhere a lot cooler than Florida like myself where if its in the 60s we consider that our regular summer and when we come abroad we get funny looks when residents are wrapping up we are in short sleeves:crazy:

Thanks again for the update! It is 2pm and we are packing.
Phila. is expecting a Nor'easter which will bring all kinds of yuckey
weather, wind rain and snow!! Stepharoonie, I appreciate your
keeping us posted on local weather. At this point 50 degrees sounds tropical to us. This will be our 5th trip to USO. In the past we were wdw crazies, but we found PBH and USO.

Thanks again!!

Shawn
