Help!

There are cushiony blister band-aids. They provide comfort. Try switching shoes and add moleskin. I hope you feel better.

I used to get terrible blisters at WDW, that would bleed and be SO PAINFUL, as well as blisters under my callouses. One thing I learned is to wear socks all the time. I also spray my feet with antiperspirant in the mornings. I wear my crocs all the time, even at Disney, so as you can imagine, I'm quite the fashion plate, LOL!

To treat the blisters- pop carefully with a needle and drain. I usually put a bit of peroxide on them rather than any kind of ointment. Cut a small piece of tissue just the size of the blister and put it on the blister (so the moleskin doesn't stick to the blister). Anchor this into place with moleskin, generously cut- and curve the corners of the moleskin so it's harder for it to peel off. THEN put masking tape around this. (This hint is from the Rockettes, from when DD took their training program.) Duct tape also works but it's harder on your skin when you take it off.

Thanks everyone! We are back home now (and suffering from Disney Depression)! I was able to make it through the trip with all your suggestions. I ended up draining the blisters and using doTERRA Correct X ointment on them. I then covered with a band aid and moleskin. I put athletic tape around that to keep it on my feet. At night I drained again and soaked in Epsom salts, applied ointment and Vicks Vapor Rub and let my feet air out. By Friday, I didn't need any bandages at all! I had my Skechers Go Walks, Go Walk Sandals with me but ended up wearing my old Yellow Box flip flops most of the time. I never did find any Crocs. I found one cute pair of ladies Crocs at HS but they were too narrow for my feet.

Thanks again everyone for their help. We had a great time and are already thinking about planning our next trip!
