ok solo guy going to us for first time in oct 25th then leave on 31st got 4 day p2p tix staying at cabana bay got 4 day dine plan but i love taking pics and would love to get character pix will there be people to take those pics like wdw photo pass is there a pass i should get at us for pics and i love horror movies so plan on hhn while im there also and will i get weird looks for being alone i went to wdw and got weird looks for being alone in character lines and should i get express pass being solo advice for first timer please.......

i go solo for my trips to the motherland and the dark side
have met up with people on various days but a majority of my time is solo in the parks.

if i want a pic of standing next to the character, i give my camera to the TM that is present.
they take decent pictures.
have not used the photo pass system except when i am with friends who have it.
they share with me later for those pics.


there are some older threads about the photo pass system they have in the parks.
hopefully someone will post current info to help you on that.


i try to hit HHN 4, sometimes 5 nights each october.
part, at least 2 of the nights of the time, i am solo.

not a problem for me.
it's still a fun time to do hhn.
i talk to stangers all the time in the wait lines.
sometimes they even talk back to me.......


i usually make a thread titled, HHN, when are you going, each year.

i group the thread by dates and dis name.
sometimes i pm peeps that have signed up for dates i will be there to meet up and hit a house or two together.

have met and ended up with some wonderful friendships due to that.


about a couple of weeks after the HHN tickets go on sale, i create a new HHN thread.
hang around and check it out.
you might want to connect with a few peeps on a couple of nights you will do the event.

express passes.
are you asking about HHN express passes or the ep for the parks during the day time?

i buy ep for HHN.
i figure it is like car insurance.
might need them, might not but have them just in case.

Being local I go to the parks alone and think nothing of it...that includes HHN and Mardi Gras. No one will look at you strange and so what if they do? You'll probably never have to see them again.

You should definitely post your dates on the HHN thread that Macraven will start this summer so you can see who else is going on your nights. We have meets all the time and would enjoy including you one night...if possible.
