Any tips on coach travel ???
Any advice would be great

Hi,

Which hotel is it,what time of year and how old is your son ?

There could be better deals for you depending on these things ;)

are you saying the coach trip you're looking at is £500? I'd agree with Carrie_Cat, for one adult and one child I can usually get flights transfers and 3 nights/4 days in the parks for £500.

which area of the country do you live in, can you drive/have a car, and how old is your child?

Thanks for your reply my child is 7 and autistic so I couldent drive all that way with just me so thought he would have my full attention on the coach I'm coming from Bedfordshire and its the last week in sept the dates sun to wed x

Santa fa I think it's called who do you all book with ? Thanks x

could you fly from Luton with Easyjet to Paris CDG airport? Thats what I do, then get a shuttle transfer from CDG to Disneyland Paris (and back if you prefer).
For hotels it depends what you want, I usually book in low season with a deal for the onsite hotels through Disney themselves (including the Santa Fe). My budget for onsite is £300, and I try to get as many nights and days in the park as possible for that ;). I'm considering a next trip in February next year, because Disney is doing a deal where you get 4 nights onsite for the price of 2, and your son is free at that time of year too (so you could have 4 nights and 5 days in the parks for £267 total for the both of you, staying at the Santa Fe or Cheyenne hotels).

Thanks I'll look into flying never thought about that to be honest as Dident know how easy it it when'd the best abd cheepest time to go in the year ?? Do u book with Disney direct Many thanks

If your son does not like flying, catching the Eurostar direct from London to DLP might be an option too.

He likes flying Eurostar is realy expensive Thanks for helping me out

I do it all separately, so book my flights with Easyjet direct with them, then the hotel/park tickets package through Disney, and the shuttle transfers direct with the shuttle companies. Same with travel insurance, I do that myself direct as well.

eurostar doesn't have to be expensive (it will depend on how easy it is for you to get to St Pancras, Ebbsfleet or Ashford though to pick it up). If you call Eurostar and register interest in whatever dates you're after, you can get a return to DLP for £69 per adult, £49 per child. This would be for next year now though, as the fares up to December have been out for sale for quite a while now, and so the cheapest fares are no longer available.
