Hi,
I am traveling with my dance school to WDW in November. I am trying to make
online ADRS for lunches/dinners. When I try to book something for Magic Kingdom on 11/11/10 it tells me that the time is during a special event requiring separate admission, but I can't seem to find out what that event might be.
Does anyone know how I can find this out-- short of calling WDW?
Thanks so much!
Debi

I'm guessing Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but I didn't check the schedules. That starts at 7 PM. You wouldn't be able to make a reservation from that time forward but earlier in the day should be fine.

Ok,
I figured out it is a Mickey's Christmas party evening. Does that mean the park is only open to those who have bought tickets for that event?
I have never been to WDW in the park for any of these special events.
Thanks
Debi

Yes, if you want to stay in the park beyond 7 PM, you have to have a ticket to the party. Tickets are in the $50 range, I believe.

You can be in the park all day up to that point though.

Okay Vicki,
Thanks. I made a reservation for earlier... and maybe I will cancel, but I don't like not having any plans for meals.. We have park hoppers so we could eat dinner and go. I am not sure if it would be worth spending another $100 for the party... we don't have kids with us this time.
Thanks again,
Debi
