I, kinda, accidentally, did something stupid. Well, I found this forum called DHI discussion. So I made an account and... I accidentally put my e-mail address as my username...:scared1: Anyone on that site know how to fix this? It's the one powered by Lefea forums. (Or something like that.) Help would be greatly appreciated!!

I would e-mail the webmaster...they should be able to help you. Or, if possible, can you just make an new account with a new name and not use that one?

Wouldn't let me, so I just logged out, so crisis adverted!! :jumping1: (Why didn't I just think of that in the first place!?)

Edit: Wait- all they have to do is look at the members list- CRISIS BACK!!!

you can't delete your account? there must be a way to just delete it, then make a new one. Would do what was suggested too and email the webmaster. good luck!

I can't e-mail the webmaster, it doesn't give an e-mail address. I can't even access the main website until my usename and password gets approved. I'm to afraid to tell my dad what I did because I'm not supposed to join sites without his approval. :rolleyes1

If you do something you have got to have the guts to stand by it. You need help, be mature enough to know that, and you do already know that, and get his help. Of course he is not going to be happy, but he will be more confident in you in the long run because you knew you were over your head.

There are too many kids out there that don't realized that until it's too late. Go talk to him.

Hang in there - there's probably an easy answer. Right now nobody can probably see it - and if the webmaster notices the email address is the user name it might not get approved.

@Topper: Because it didn't seem like a bad idea at the time.

Anyways, I'll wait and see if it gets approved or not, hopefully it won't get approved. If it does, I'll just follow the instructions from the link. (Thanks for the link by the way.) I'll also tell my dad the truth. Serena was right, I need to come clean before things get worse. (Thanks for the advice, Serena.):)

Anyways, I'll tell you later how things went. Keep your fingers crossed.

I was afraid I might have sounded too harsh and I didn't mean to. But all my girls' friends call me mom, for a good reason, I have a hard time turning it off. :)

Nah, you weren't harsh at all. You were right with what you said.

Keeping our fingers crossed that it doesn't get approved! However, if it does, speaking as a parent, it's best to be up front about anything you think might be wrong then try to hide it. You'll get in less trouble that way. "I need help" is always a good way to start off!

Let us know how it went.
