Hi guys
Hoping someone might have some advice for me. My dd has poured out a full bottle of dimensional magic onto my scrapbooking desk and then covered it up with a magazine. Of course now its lovely and hard and lumpy and I cannot get it off. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might remove it. I've tried something the hardware store gave me called De-Solv-It but it has made no difference at all. I've also tried nail polish remover but it only works on the edges where it is really thin and makes no difference on the thicker parts. It covers so much of the desk that I really can't use it unless I can get it off.

I suggest going back to the manufacturer. They should know how to fix your problem.

What kind of desk is it?
Can you scrap it off and then refinish the desk?
Can you sand it down?

I would try some gel paint remover, and if that doesn't work, then I think you are going to have to sand it off.

you could try nail polish remover (preferably the kind with acetate or is it acetone? Anyway, the one that eats acrylic nails) - I think that stuff is a lacquer, so an adhesive remover isn't going to work.
