My sister-in-law and her husband and two kids decided to go to WDW and booked the Wilderness Lodge for June 23-30. We have all been wanting to go together for so long. When they told us about it we tried to get the Wilderness Lodge and it is all booked up for that time.

My question is this: Has anyone one of you actually called every morning like they say to keep trying to get a hotel that has been booked and actually gotten it? Or would I be wasting my time?

We've got a room at POFQ booked but we would really like to stay with the others.

Thanks for your help!

I did - I called every single Monday until I got the resort I wanted and I finally got it 2 weeks before leaving. I don't know if it's true, but I had heard that they put in all cancellations by end of day Friday so Monday a.m. works best.

Now, that could be true...or maybe not. But, I think if you keep trying there is a good chance you'll get what you want.

Call daily. I do it all of the time to secure ressies in a resort I'm looking for. The computers are updated as soon as the cancellation or reservation is made.

Try expedia.com. I don't know how much you want to spend, but I put in for your dates and it came back 405 per night at the Wilderness Lodge and 305 per night at the Villas. When you go to Expedia put in for Orlando then the dates you want. They give you I think 15 or so pages and the Disney properties are somewhere between pages 8 or 9 and 15. Good Luck.
