Theres got to be one person out there who has gone to disney the week New years. please PM me or whatever, i have some questions.

We went this past New Years. It was very crowded. New Years Eve was a mad house. What were you wanting to know? Will try to see if I have an answer.

ok heres the deal we will be at universal the 30th and 31st. we will be leaving universal for disney sometime late in the day maybe 7 or so to check in to all star music. i read that if you are not in a disney park by new years eve morning than you can forget getting in later that night (capacity issues). im just wondering if this is true...is it that crowded? which park in your opinion would be the least crowded on that night? and after the first do the crowds die down a bit? like on the 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th? do you recommend staying away from the park that has the EMH that day? universal was so easy planning...lol, disney is a bit overwhelming.

Magic Kingdom is definately the hardest park to get in to on New Year's Eve. As long as you don't have your heart set on the Magic Kingdom, you should be fine. I've gotten in to Epcot at 7PM on New Year's Eve without problems, and I've had friends get to the MGM Studios around the same time without problems. I'm not sure about the Animal Kingdom.

Enjoy your trip!!

I have never been to Disney at all, so I have no preference...i heard epcot has fireworks also, so that park will be fine. I can save magic kingdom for another day that week.
thanks so much.

I took bus from MGM to MK at 8:30 pm last NYE. It was a madhouse only in front of the Castle. Behind the castle in Adventureland and Fantasy land it wasn't bad at all. I stayed until 3 am Rode Pirates 3 times with no wait while most of the crowd was fighting their way out of the park. They even served free hot chocolate and cookies. I am going to be there again this NYE
