I need a little advice from you expert Disney folks!

I have a res. for Cal. Grill at 9:00 p.m on Sunday, Dec. 2. I made it at this time because my only other choice was 7:30. I don't like to eat that late but I want to see the fireworks at MK from there. There is a Christmas party that night but I have been told the party firworks are at 9:00. This is really the only night I can eat at the CG especially now at this late date, I probably can't get another res. Will the fireworks be at 9:00 and are they about the same as the Wishes fireworks? and are the wishes f.w. at 6:00? I want to eat there since I never have and Ihave heard it is great but I really want the experience of the MK fireworks at the same time.

I have a res. for Narcoosses at 9:00 on Tue, should I try to make it earlier and be through with dinner about the time of the fireworks? is it worth the 2 TS meals on the DDP?

Any other advice on having a really different experience with fireworks viewing? rather than in the park

At CG you can see the fireworks - go outside on the balcony - its AWESOME - MK will not do Wishes on the nights of special fireworks... I've not been at CG during special Firework shows so I dont have specific info..

I think CG is worth 2TS - go to allearsnet.com click on dining, then on menu and check out some of the choices - the chefs do tend to add things - but its a great start to think about the menus...

I've not been to Narcooses, but I wish I had - its at Grand Floridian, and out by the boat dock - it looks lovely, friends have gone and its a must do, its the only DP place I guess that has lobster tails as an option...

Generally if your DP is $39 think you get a max $4 snack, a counter service meal - which comes to around $11 or $12 so think a $25 per day for the TS meal - at a 2TS place you want to spend about $50, by going to the menus you will see if you will get your money's worth - or should you just not do the DP and pay out of pocket -

Keep in mind the dining plan for '07 includes dessert, an appetizer and the 18% gratutity -which is a great deal - for '08 no appetizer no gratutity, jsut the meal and dessert

So they won't have the Wishes fireworks at 6:00 on nights of the MVMCP?

I don't know about Wishes at 6, maybe someone else can answer? WDW used to put that kind of thing on the website calendar, but the last time I checked the times of the fireworks were not posted. Maybe you have to be closer to the dates?

However, Narcoosees is wonderful! You can stand outside on the porch and watch the fireworks~the sound is piped in. Food and service were fantastic! One of my other favorite spots to view the fireworks is from the beach at the Polynesian!

If you go to Disneyworld dot com and go to the calendar, choose december, MK, and then click on the #2 (for the 2nd of Dec) it shows wishes at 6pm

I hope they will because I am going to CG mainly to see them from there.

I'm sorry - I didnt phrase my answer better - they dont do Wishes during Mickey's Not So Scary - (they do fireworks called Hallowishes) but I 've not been during MVM - so I dont have specific info there!!

Either way both places are a great way to view the fireworks!!

at Narcoosie's. Well worth the 2 credits. We both had steak and lobster tail. The cheese plate as an appetizer was especially tasty.

We ate on the DDP and had exquisite service and food.

Allen was a great personality and server. Great suggestions for Mines, etc.

When there is a special occasion mentioned at the time of the ADR our menu came out personalized with "Tim's Birthday"

Lovely night-everyone should try it at least once.
