I need some help with some good TS places to eat. I am going to Disney with my best friend who has never been to disney. We are kids at heart but 24. We know we want to eat at Crystal Palace one day for breakfast but the other 5 days we are clueless. Can u give us your opinions on good eats?!

Definitely Sci-Fi at MGM Studios for 24's. Very cool restaurant. What do you like to eat and where are you staying?

We are flying and using disney transportation. We only have 5 day park passes cause we wanted one day to go around the resort and down town disney!

If you are at Downtown Disney, Raglan Road is fun. I am the same age as you (well, actually 25 now...halfway to 50 :scared:, LOL). My DH & I also like to eat at Biergarten, there is a fun atmosphere with the band playing.

O'hanas or Kona Cafe would be fun too, and they have fun drinks at the Poly bar (if you like to drink!!) :drinking1

Personally, I can't wait to do my drink around the world this trip!! LOL. I have everything planned out and everything. Good thing we are staying at the Dolphin...

Okay then, what is your budget on food because I would suggest accordingly. Do you want to try a couple of resort restaurants because they are awesome. Would you want to try a restaurant at one of the resorts with a show. I know a lot of questions but WDW is endless in choices depending what you want to do.

Ohana's is absolutely awesome at the Polynesian Resort.

We are on the DDP. So not OOP expense on food so thats a good thing! Thanks for the idea. We may have to add Ohana's! Can we get there on the disney busses?

i'm about your age too (26) and i must recommend 50's prime time. my mother and i ate there 3 times last week because it was such a blast. just be ready to play along. if you want to be especially bothered (in a good way!), request cousin richard. he is so awesome!

I have Crystal Palace & Sci-Fi for sure. 50's is a maybe. Also, do you think it would be dumb if we ate at LeCellier Steakhouse? I read that is has no windows so it was a romantic setting which is not what we are looking for but the food sounded good?!

Le Cellier is Awesome! It would not be too romantic for just two friends, don't worry!!

Also, you can get to the Poly for Ohanas on Disney Transport. You would either need to take a bus to Downtown Disney, and then one to the Poly, or take a Bus to Magic Kingdom and then Monorail to Poly (that is probably easier). Ohanas is so fun!! :goodvibes

Have you checked out the menus at allearsnet.com? That will give you an idea on what types of food each place has...it will help you narrow things down alot.

This is what we like for TS places:

Cape May for breakfast and dinner
Kona for breakfast
Beirgarten
Le Cellier for lunch or dinner
50's Prime Time
House of Blues

Prime Time is alot of fun. If you like buffets, and are open to "interesting" foods, I would suggest Boma.

House of Blues is not on the dining plan unless there has been a very recent change.

If you also like italian, Mama Melrose at MGM Studios is also very good.
