The time is approaching for us to book our custom wedding at WDW (5th May 08) and we still cant really work out a budget just yet. We are going to have about 100 guests, give or take, and we also want to use some outside vendors such as a photographer and maybe a florist.

Would anyone like to help and give a ball park figure so we can have a rough idea of what we can expect. I was thinking of around $30-35K, would this be substantial. Any tips on savings and what to do would be greatly apprecciated

Where are you planning on having your ceremony and reception and what time of day? Also are you planning on any additional activities (desert party)? The more info the more everyone on this board can help. Everyone on these boards is just wonderful and very helpful.

we are considering the WP or SBP with the reception at maybe the Y&B. we deffinetly want a later event as neither of us are early risers.

We had thought about a dessert party as maybe the welcome party.

We're based in uk (isle of man)
Our wedding is a custom on fe 12 08 @ w pavillion, then the whitehall and patio room @ gf, then dessert party @ uk lower terr @ epcot,.
We thought it was going to b really reasonable to have a disney wedding, and i suppose it is for the quality and service we're all going to get!
The 1 thing i will say is the cost of things seems to run away with you (or so i've found!)
The cost of ours so far is $23,000. I'm hoping to try and get it down a bit more if poss!

Louiseandandrew-Just a quick question for you...How many people do you plan on having? We are going to be at Whitehall and we wanted to see if the venue would be the perfect size for us. We are looking (hoping) to have 60-70 people.....Thank you for your help

You may want to try reading through this thread too! Many of us listed our entire budget in detail, so you should be able to get a really good idea of what your's might be. w are in the whitehall room on feb 12 08. We should have around 38 guests.
The 1 thing i will say is (not sure if you know about this already), but we were wanting to have a band, but our wc has said that there wont be enough room. I was considering changing to ariels, but she said she wouldn't reccomend it as the wh room is a perfet size for our party
