Help!

Our DVC payment is paid directly from our checking account each month. I noticed this morning that DH's payroll check (which is directly deposited to our account) did not appear today as it usually does on fridays. I transferred some funds over to our savings account and thought I had enough left in checking to cover any unpaid checks. Unfortunately I forgot about our DVC payment and the bank did not honor it. I am beside myself and my DH left for work not speaking to me. Our trip is two weeks from today. Will they automatically cancel our reservations before resubmitting this? What should I do? I need help fast. I really am not a deadbeat so please don't think this of me.
 
I'd suggest calling Member Services first thing this morning and speak to the financial department. This can't be the first time they've run into this situation before. Maybe they can take an immediate credit card payment over the phone for this month and get it taken care of right away. (Or if your husbands check is now deposited you can ask them to try another electronic debit.)

Give a quick call to MS. It is likely they'll redeposit before they do anything.
 
I would make the call also!! We have all done things like that in the past! :guilty: :rotfl: At least I know I have!

I am sure it will get straightened out and then you can call DH and tell him it is all taken care of!!

BTW...is your checking and savings not hooked together? I did this once and the bank just pulled the $$ of the savings to cover it! Might want to check into that.

Thanks everyone for your great advice. The bank is suppose to take from the savings but for some reason did not do that. They apologized for what thats worth. I did call MS immediately and they connected me to the financial department. They couldn't have been nicer and said they automatically resubmit for payment in one week. They do charge a fee but nothing major. The good news is they do not mess with reservations and that's what matters. Whew! I am sure feeling a whole lot better. Now when my family starts talking to me again I'll be good to go. LoL Thanks again for being here in my hour of need. You guys are the best!
 
Get even, turn the banking over to him. Then you can get mad at him.
 
It will all turn out for the best, after all you will be in Disney soon. Have a great vacation.
