Can someone help me with quest kiosk? I just bought one and now someone offered to sell me bat magic. I have 10K in credits, but I'm not sure how this works. I know I make him winner for 10K credits, but how do I get bat magic? Is it by honor system, as in I give him credits then he opens trade window and gives me magic, cuz that makes me nervous...any help appreciated, thanks!

Unfortunately, it is by honor system. If you feel uncomfortable, maybe you can make him hand over the Bat Magic first, and then let him do the quest.

What I usually do is make the answer to the quest something completely random and unrelated to the quest question, then tell them the answer in the trade window when they give me the item. That way the only way they can complete it is to give me my half of the trade and no one else can come in and do the quest (and win) either.

That's what I was about to suggest. The only things I might add are that after the two of you are alone in the room, you could put up some furniture to block people from getting to the quest machine. Then nobody could get to it to try to figure out the answer to the quest. If the task is to say something, you might also want to disappear into another room to test the machine so nobody, including the person with the bat magic, sees the answer before you want them to see it.

great ideas, I was a little concerned with some random person coming in while we were trading and winning 15,000 credits...can you imagine?? LOL!

An update, he had a hat I wanted and he really wanted 15K to get his own kiosk so - I had him give me the bat magic, then I opened the quest for him then he gave me the hat we agreed on. It worked out great!
