Tomorrow we are having a yard sale. We have some larger items that I'm not sure how to price. We have kitchen chairs in great shape, original price was $200 each, no matching table. We also have a kitchen table in good shape, wood and tile with 2 matching chairs. A sofa, good brand, can't remember what it is, scratched up by the cat. Thanks for your help.

I usually start prices at about 1/3 of the original cost. I think this will depend on your neighborhood and the demand in the area where you're at.

One suggestion...take photos and post the info on Craig's List. I did really well at my last garage sale because I had a list of a hundred or so items...and photos of the big ticket stuff. Several people told me they would never have driven all the way to where I lived had I not done that!
