Getting a little nervous about getting entrance to the park with capacity crowds. When should we arrive at the gates?? We have 5 day passes-Does that ensure entrance? We will be there 12/23/-12/28 and staying offsite at Homewood Suites. We'll use the ART.I'll have a very unhappy bunch if we get turned away......My husband would go postal. Thanks! Im just getting FREAKED out! ;)

I would just suggest getting there at opening not 10 or 11 ;).
Not sure if they allow reentry for handstamps if they are at max. that is something I would like to know also I am going Dec 19th-23rd. The 23rd is our shopping DTD day though so we won't see ya in the park.
I plan on arriving 30min prior to opening everyday, but I and my DS are morning people.
Hope you have a great stay!

thanks! The good news is, is that we are from Chicago, so out internal clocks will wake us up at 2 hours earlier than normal. Do we know park hours yet??

For DL's "official" operating hours, check this link: http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/calendar/monthly/monthly?name=CalendarMonthlyPage

If you use their "Day of Arrival" and "Length of Stay" fill-ins, you get specifics about what time events are throughout the parks--at least as of today (check back closer to your trip, as things change!).

Others will give you the rundown on who is "guaranteed re-entry" and when they suggest to get to the parks that week. (I'm the novice and too chicken to even TRY the last week of the year at DL! )

Good luck!

It will most likely be extremely crowded the week after Christmas. I'd get there really early and do what you can at DL then go to DCA if DL is too crowded, assuming your passes are parkhoppers.

Can we reenter the park? if it is at maximum capacity? With hand stamps?

Once they close the park, do they allow entry later if a certain number of people leave, or is it just closed to entry the entire rest of the day?

:earsgirl:

eduk8r26 -- you mention the week after Christmas...any predictions for the week BEFORE? (We were at WDW last year the week preceding the holiday and it was busy but manageable). Thanks.
