I want to get DH's grandparents XM for Christmas. I don't want the car one, I want to get them one for the house so they can listen to '40's music and old time radio. They don't have a receiver of any kind in the house. What is the best way to do this?

The Delphi SkyFi is a device that can be inserted into a car receiver or a boombox. The boombox might be a good option for them. The downside is that the boombox and the actual XM receiver are sold separately.

Threre is also the XM Skybox, that according to the XM site, is only sold at Best Buy (it's not on bestbuy.com, although I know the website doesn't carry everything the stores do). It's $169.99, which I think is cheaper than the SkyFi. XM's description:
The SKYBOX is the industry's first integrated portable satellite radio, including an XM receiver, AM/FM tuner and CD/MP3 player in a single device. Available exclusively at Best Buy
