Another idea that is sometimes overlooked is an "Our First Christmas" Ornament. We got one for our wedding 27 years ago and it still hangs on our tree every year. They have nice ones at Hallmark and also at Things Remembered, either in the store or online. At Things Remembered you can keep the cost down by engraving just the first letter of their last name and the wedding date.

On other thing that we have given for two weddings this year is at Things Remembered. It is a marriage license holder. It is a silver scroll that you can engrave onto. Makes a nice keepsake.

First if it were me I would not send a gift to either one...maybe just a card. But 2 ideas that no one has said is a gift basket one of 2 ways.

1st make it a movie night basket...put in some micro pop corn, a box or 2 of candy, something to drink and a dvd or a GC for them to buy a movie with.

2nd same idea as above but do a game night basket.

You could do either for both of them and the one that has to be sent away you can get a small basket for everything and mail it priority mail without the soda. To do either and not including mailing the total should be no more then maybe 25.00-35.00 at the most!

Know they sound like cheap ideas, but the things like that is what no one thinks to get. Everyone always gos and buys the kitchen gizmos and the bed and bath stuff, because they are easy but for get about bonding things for them to do. My cousin got married almost 2 years ago and they put on their list a lot of board and card games. Worked a little too well. A few people forgot to mark that they had got one game so they ended up with 4 of the same game, they took 2 back and got a game that was on the list that no one got for them.
