Well, I followed all the great advice and went to David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo this weekend and tried on some dresses. But before I can focus my dress search I have a question for you girls... how windy would it be on deck in February at the Bahamas? I am leaning towards a chiffon dress but I don't want it blowing around ( or up :rotfl2:) and having to hold it down. That would be no fun. Any ideas?

Thanks in Advance!

Mami

Look at my video link below..the wind was there and it made for some great veil blowing shots, but it was a breeze..not really windy

Just a small breeze

It actually made it very comfortable...I was afraid it would be so hot in July at 5:30pm but it was PERFECT!!

Oh Thank you! You put my mind at ease. The last thing I want is to pull a wanna be Marilyn Monroe in front of the captain

At my quincenera, I gave the priest an unholy sight of my "girls" because i had lost so much weight that my dress fit me big and sagged as I was kneeling waiting for the blessing... dang :-) I was wearing a corset of course but it was still embarrassing.

ou can ask the seamstress to sew some weights in the dress..February CAN be a bit breezy..so that would be an insurance plan

For safety you might want to have a more fitted slip skirt (or lightweight skirt) underneath, so you're covered no matter what happens!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'm sorry, i'm sure it wasn't funny at the time, but it's dang funny now!!

My dress is floor lenght and a sheath so i hopefully don't have to worry about it flying around....i just wonder about a big huge pile of sand underneath it. :rotfl:

Hopfully it won't be windy in August either, I'm wearing a dress with layers of tulle...
