Help with wax on tablecloth

So a candle dribbled down onto the table runner and through to the tablecloth. The wax even stuck the two cloths together. I got them seperated, but now the wax won't come up. I've been using an ice cube to harden the wax, but it's not crumbling and coming apart like it should. What's the secret for getting wax off of tablecloths?

I believe you can put a brown bag over and under the wax and iron it. The wax should melt into the brown paper.

I was going to say iron it too. Make sure you use a brown paper bag or paper towels, not anything like newsprint that will end up transferring to the tablecloth. If you have two irons, use your old one. I have an old iron just for things like this. If you only have one, just make sure you clean the iron well afterward and get all that wax residue off. Try this:

First pick away whatever pieces you can from the tablecloth. Then put a thin cotton towel, a sheet of tin foil, then another thin towel on your ironing board. The towel that will be "absorbing" the wax should be one that is old and you wouldn't care about losing. Then heat up the iron to its highest heat, and place the tablecloth wax side down on the top of these towels. The heat will melt the wax, and the pressure of the iron will draw it into the towel. Keep doing this until it is removed.

One thing that we usually do to get wax off of something is to put it in the freezer for a couple of hours. Then you should just be able to break the wax away. I don't know how well it will work with a tablecloth, but I imagine it should be the same as most other things.
