Hi,
We are going to rent a villa for our upcoming vacation, but I need some help! I am new to this, we have always stayed onsite before. I know about vrbo.com, any other by owner websites out there? We would like to rent from an owner instead of a management co, and we would like to stay in the davenport area. I am looking for any tips, pointers, etc.
Thanks!

Try orlando villas dot com (take out the spaces and put a period instead of a dot). They also have two sister sites, and all owners are verified by the people who run the sites. Also, we rented a villa in Davenport in April of this year, 4 bed/3 bath, and if you PM me I can give you the link. Good luck! There are lots of villas to choose from.

You can Try
www.onlinefloridavillas.com
www.indiancreekflorida.com
www.fabvillas.com
www.villas2000.com
www.windsorhillsrent.com and there is one for emerald Island but Deb will have to post that one, I can never remember that site. (sorry Deb)
I am sure I am just being brain dead on it! LOL

There are tons more sites that have homes on them. If you have any questions or need anymore sites let us know we would be more than happy to help!

You will have a great time looking at all the great houses. You would be best to start with how many bedrooms do you need, and what neighborhoods do you like. If you need a map that show all the different neighborhoods let us know and we can post a link to the maps for you.

Just ask us as many questions as you have we would be happy to help in any way that we can!

Hi there, I'm a newbie too but I have done TONS of research and wanted to share my great deal. I found Floriday's it's new on I-Drive by the newer outlet mall anyway, it was like $300 a night through them directly which didn't seem like too bad of a deal but I kept researching (oh that was for a 3 bedroom condo that sleeps 9) and I found a privately managed one on vrbo.com so I sent the guy and email and we are renting it for 2/3 - 2/11 for $1,000! With taxes and everything it comes out to like $142 a night and that includes my portable crib. If you go to vrbo.com and put in 102925 in the vrbo # box it will pop up. Good luck!
