Help with upcoming trip

After all the "controversy" about US/IOA (on these boards) I got to thinking that we had not been there in a while so we are doing a quick weekend trip to the Royal Pacific.

Although I have been many times I have a few questions:

One, can we check in really early (I know the room won't be ready). We are on the club floor and it would be great to check in early and enjoy it before hitting the parks.

Two, I am a Loews gold member booked on a FLorida discount. I know I won't get the perks (gift, etc) but was wondering if anyone has used the late check out guarantee? It would be nice to leave at 2 p.m. on Sunday instead of 11 since we are doing a pool day. I doubt I can use it but I thought it would worth a try.

Any recent comments on the Royal Pacific club floor??????? THANKS!

We have stayed ar RPR 4 times (3 club level) 3 out of the 4 times our room was ready upon checkin. They will hold your luggage if the rooms not ready,and you can go to the parks. We have used late checkout everytime we have gone (7 times total). We sometimes had an 8pm flight,wouldn't leave for the airport until 6pm. we would go the pool and then hang out at the club lounge until we left. (We always asked the concierge in club level if this would be okay) it was never a problem. Not aure if this helps any??

Oh! sorry forgot we have always got an AAA discount and always get the perks(cookies and milk,etc)
