Hi there

When my family and I visited Universal Orlando in 2004 we purchased the Express Plus passes so we got on to most of the 'major' rides with little or no wait.

My hubby and I definitely want to do the same thing for our trip this year, as we love the rides and think Universal has some of the best!

We've been checking out the Universal Orlando website and I may have read it incorrectly, but it seems that there are only a certain number of these passes available on selected dates. Is this correct? Last time, we just got in the ticket queue on our arrival at the park and brought the tickets.

I'm wondering if its become so popular Universal have now restricted the number of people allowed to purchase these tickets??? If so, would you advise me to buy them ASAP? We're travelling in July.

Many thanks for any advice and help

Julie x

You can buy them on the ticket section of the Universal site.
Personally i would stay at least 1 night onsite, and would get you 2 days express,[the day you checkin until park closing the day you check out] your room key acts as your express pass, and you can ride as many times as you like. Buying the express pass only entitles you to 1 ride on each attraction, sometimes the CMs do not mark them and you might get on some more than once ,but no guarantees

Make sure when you check out the web page that has the prices listed, you look at the entire page. Most people don't scroll down since it looks like there are only one or two charts of dates and prices. There are about 5 charts that cover every date, so make sure you go all the way down. Also, remember that you don't have to buy them online but you can wait to see what the crowds are like and buy them in the shops at the parks.

That's what I would do...wait until you arrive and see how the crowds are.

Julie...

Yes...they are limited and only sell "x" many a day. I'm sure there are plenty, but for peak seasons, I'm sure they would sell out quicker than non-peak.... If you wait until you're in the park, see how much you accomplish before the crowds start filtering in.... If it looks like it's gonna be busy, go grab the passes.... they sell them at different locations throughout the park (so get them at a location "deeper" in the park), cuz everyone seems to get in line just beyond the entrance gates :confused3
