What is the best way to get to port canaveral. I know Disney has transfers but isn't it $65.00 or so each person each way? There are 8 of us  :faint: Is there a good alternative? A van, what about a cab...is it just ridiculously priced?
Also, what about getting around Orlando and what about getting to Disney from Sanford airport?

I know the best alternative is to rent a car but my dh doesn't want the hassle. I have researched it but wanted to hear what all you knowledgeable folks have to say. how did you do it?
Thanks

Renting a car really is pretty painless. The airport lines move pretty quickly. When you get to the port, the driver(s) simply drop everyone off, drive just 5 min. to the rental office (Budget or Alamo) and get the shuttle back to the ship. It would be mush cheaper and give you flexibilty.

I found a great rate for our large group(12) with Capital One Trans. We have a big group going different directions after we disembark. They were willing to work with us and it is only $30 per person round trip! Even with the group splitting up! www.capital-transportation.com here is their # 1 877 941 LIMO. We are getting a van to get to our hotel by the port, town cars for a few leaving right away and a van again back to MCO for the rest of us on Tues.
