Help with Trader Sam’s, 21+ after 8pm rule

Hello,
We are a party of 4 adults but one is only 19.
Trader Sam’s is 21+ after 8pm.
So is he allowed in for a reservation that is at 7:30pm?
What happens when he is inside and 8pm happens.

At the Trader Sam’s in WDW, we had to take our son out when it went to 21+. The waitress let us know when she greeted us and we took him out on our own when it was time. Not sure how they handle it if you don’t voluntarily leave but you should respect the rules and do it yourself when it’s time.

ETA: my son is 15 now and has been going with us to Trader Sam’s for years. So it was quite obvious he was underage. In WDW, it opens at 3:30 pm so there wasn’t a huge window for when kids could be in there so we usually tried for 5-7 pm so he can be out well before the 21+ time.

Honestly, 30 min is enough time to grab a drink and soak up the atmosphere! Also, they serve the same drinks at Tangeroa Terrace so you can always move there after 8! It is worth the visit at least once to experience the special effects!
