This will be our first trip to DL, but we have been to DW many times. We use TGM for those trips and have a set plan where we've been able to avoid lines and it works great--even at Christmas time!

We are only going to DL for 2 days--one day MK and one CA AND it will be a Sat/Sun in July! I'm worried because I'm not familiar with the parks and the ride specifics. Are there any touring guide plans that help with DL? How do you suggest I plan our days so that we get to see what we want? Thanks!

I would check out the Unofficial Guide to DL and/or the accompanying Touring Plans site. They have plans mathematically tested and proven to save you up to four hours a day in line. Their one day plans for each park include all the highlights and are really easy to follow!

I would read this guide--- http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1162599

If you want a planner for DLR after reading this try ridemax.

My suggestion would be to park hop both days. Unlike WDW, DL and DCA are right across from each other, a short 2 minute walk. You can really maximize your time better if you go back and forth and aren't tied to just one park for each day. And it does end up being more cost effective as well.

Thank you! I'm now trying to decide if I should do RideMax or Touring Plans--any ideas? It looks like there are a bunch of new rides this summer--any idea which of those 2 plans would have the most up to date plan?

It depends on what kind of plans you are talking about...

An itinerary? RideMax would be my choice.

Wait time data and daily crowd ratings? Touring Plans is the only game in town. But many around here including me question the quality of their data at DLR.
