We are planning on 2 days: Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day. Crowds are expected to be very heavy. IOA opens at 8 am for onsite. There's no early entry for USF.
1. At what time will they *actually* open IOA? Is it 8:00 am or do they actually open earlier?
2. If we enter when they open at 8:00 am (or earlier), how long can we expect to wait in line for Forbidden Journey?
3. I read that the Hogwart's train starts at 8:30, will we make the first train? If we do, will that give us a "leg's up" on Diagon Alley?
4. Parks close at 10 pm. Will first thing in the morning (9:00 am) be less crowded than the last hour (9:00 pm)?
5. Any other tips for touring? Our last trip was in 2013 and it was also a short 2-day trip like this one.

1 be at the gates no later than 7:30am

2 sorry my crystal ball is at the shop for repairs :)

3 no or very unlikely. Guests will probably be let in USF before actual opening time. You should exit HE at the same time USF guests will start entering diagon alley

4 very unlikely. Last couple of hours before closing are usually quiet

5 add a day (okay, not helping, but that would be the solution to your question)
