Help with tickets please

So I need advice. My head is spinning, lol. We are going for 5-6 nights this fall. We do not have another trip planned right now, but we tend to go pretty often (we are going to DL in July, we were in WDW for 3 weeks last spring). I doubt AP's will work because we tend to go to DL as well and might not make it back that fast (unless, of course there are AP rates in the fall- then we might get one)

So how do you figure it all out? Do I just buy for this trip or is it a good enough break to buy for two trips and pay for the no expire option. We like Disney Quest but doubt we would use water parks in the fall.

Is there a nice little chart somewhere that makes this easy?

OK- I think I found what I was looking for, but tell me if I have this right... I think I am doubting my math here.

A 10 ticket is $12 more than a 5 day and it is $100 to add no expire, so the second 5 days costs only $112 per person? Can that be right? I think I must be not adding a cost on somewhere, it seems like too good of a deal.

The only factor you haven't considered is the 6.5% sales tax, which is applied to both the base ticket price and the "no-expiry" option. Even with that included, you're only looking at a difference of less than $120 between a 5-day MYW base ticket and a 10-day MYW base (no-expiry). If you plan to return to WDW anytime in the future, the 10-day is a better choice.

Thanks! It just seemed too good to be true, lol. I needed someone else to confirm I was not missing something.

As far as I can tell park hopping and the waterpark/DQ add ons are a flat rate so it is like getting those add ons for free on the second 5 days.

And I can get in on a group rate for rooms if we go in late October... I think it is time to book some rooms!
