I will be with my DH and DD just turned 1, and need some suggestions on where to go in Nassau that would be within walking (stroller) distance. And wondering how the baby sitting in flounders is? Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :boat:

Have you considered a beach excursion? The lagoon at Blue Lagoon Beach is nice with no waves. There is shade, restrooms, etc. You could easily take the stroller off the ship and on the boat that takes you to Blue Lagoon. You can take the boat back as early as a couple of hours after you arrive, I think.

We didn't really do an excursion in Nassau... just walked around the shops a little bit with the strollers. Are you looking to spend time on a beach, or shop, or do something specific? We went back to the ship and the kids went to the pool and had a blast.

Flounders was great with our daughter (2 1/2). She had a great time - she had an accident and they even sent her clothes to the laundry for us, put her in a clean shirt, and had the clean clothes delivered back to us the next day. It wasn't crowded at all, and most of the time, the kids seemed happy to be watching videos or quietly playing. The characters also came to visit, as they gave us a Polaroid of her in Stitch's lap. Great shot!

OK, our DD is older (5), but we gave her the choice - a couple of hours wandering around Nassau with us or going to the club. SHe picked the club & had a great time. WE let them know we would be off ship for a couple of hours & that was fine. In fact, if we hadn't collected DD for dinner at 6pm, I'm sure we wouldn't have seen her at all!
