I need Christmas at Disney advice. We are planning a Christmas trip to Disney but can't decide on WDW or WDL. Any suggestions or pros & cons?

We have been to FL. 4 times & CA. 3 times but never at Christmas.

Thanks,
DeeDee :cloud9:

I emailed Disney directly and it didn't help. LOL

Has anyone been to WDW after Christmas and before New Year's Day? What attractions are ususally not running during that time?

I need help.

Thanks,

DeeDee

Both WDW & DL are great places to spend the Holidays at. I have been to both around Christmas, most recently WDW. The decorations are wonderful to see. They are everywhere. We arrived a couple days after X-mas and left a couple days after New Years. Being there around that time is something we'll probably only do once because of the crowds though. I believe that since it's so busy, they have majority of the attractions open.

Besides the decorations around DL & DCA, you'll be able to see the Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion (that is if they're doing it again this year). My family really enjoy it. I forgot how the crowds were since it was so long ago though.

Either way, you can't go wrong with a Disney Christmas.

Happy Planning!

I haven't been to DL for Christmas but have been to WDW. It's so festive! But CA Disney Fans is right, you really only want to do it once because the crowds are a pretty bad. I love to travel during the holidays! I'd say if your time is limited go to CA but if you have more time, as WDW is bigger, go there! Enjoy!
