I have been watching fares for Sept 28-Oct 8 for awhile now and the cheapest was $145. This morning they dropped it to $104. Should I book it? I would have to pull from savings since we are leaving for vacation this weekend to see family. It wouldn't leave us much cushion but I'm afraid the prices won't go any lower and they'll sell out. WHAT SHOULD I DO???

Waiting for airfare is like playing the stock market! Sometimes you look really smart by waiting, and sometimes, well...not so smart. Sometimes the price will go up, and sometimes it will go down.

Are you a gambler? My opinion is: if you are comfortable with the price now you should book it.

I'd go for it! I was waiting for flights from Hartford to Orlando and booked when they dropped to $99 and am hoping to get a Ding for less, but it's not looking too likely . They rose up to $140 after I booked. Yesterday was the first Ding for the flights and it was $82-89, Not what I was hoping for.:confused3 So much for the Anniversary prizes!
Now they have an internet rate of $104, but there are few flights available.
