Help with SW vouchers

Hi,
Believe it or not I have 8 credits for SW which will be expiring soon. Some of them are worth 40.00 etc. seeing that it now costs 50.00 per confirmation number to get a 6 month extension I am trying to find a way to combine some of them. I have spoken to SW customer service a nyumber of times and they will not combine them. I have 2 large amounts and six small.I have always done the extention before they expire now I am being told I have to wait until they expire. My question is if I buy a ticket using my credits and then cancel the flight will it not issue just one confirmation number? They credits I realize will still expire but at least I could combine some of the smaller ones so that at least I wouldn't mind paying the50.00 on a larger amount instead of losing 165.00. we will be traveling the wek after Thanksgiving. Will this work? I know one of my diser friends must know. Thanks so much I just hate to lose money when I do plan on traveling.

No, you will not get a new confirmation number with all the credits on one. The credits will revert back to the original confirmation #'s.

Do you know anyone (family or friends) traveling before they expire that you could "sell" them to?

If you combine two credits to book one flight, you will get a new confirmation number for the full amount. If you do cancel that one, you will have a new credit for the entire amount.

I believe you can only use 2 credits per booking. Good luck.
