Help with romantic dinner?

I am planning a vacation in September for our 10 year anniversary. I was wondering if anybody could give me some ideas for a romantic place to eat. We are staying at AKL & Poly. My wife usually takes care of this, but it is a surprise. Thanks in advance.

If you are at AK, Jiko can also be a great dinner.

I am looking into a cake for our special night and I have seen sooooooo many good ones on the boards, but I am lost for what to do. We love Donald & Daisy! Should I go with that or something romantic? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

The best romantic dinner and most awesome suprise dinner would be at Victoria and Alberts at Grand Floridian. It is fantastic.

My fiance took me to Jiko and it was an amazing dinner! I one uped him and took him to Victoria and Albert's...AMAZING too! California Grill is great if you can get a ressie around firework time....Artist Point is one of our new favs as well...and don't forget the Yechtsman Steakhouse too! You have alot of choices!

When we stayed at the poly we had chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the room..delicious!

I have heard that you could have a private dinner outside at the Grand Floridian. I googled it and this is what came up:

Grand Floridian Private Dinner
The Grand Floridian will create a private dining experience for couples, with views of the fireworks and a personal butler to attend to all your needs.

The dinners usually take place outside in the alcove area overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon, and dessert is timed to coincide with the Wishes fireworks at Magic Kingdom. You can order off of the private dining menu, or for a 25% surcharge, order from any of the Grand Floridian's fantastic restaurants (Narcoossees, Citricos, etc.).

This standard Private Dining meal includes a multi-course dinner and one bottle of wine or champagne. Depending on your specific food and beverage selections, the dinner usually costs around $200 plus 6.5% tax and gratuity.

Contact (407) 824-2578 at least seven days in advance to schedule a private dinner at the Grand Floridian.

Another vote for Victoria & Albert's.

We were lucky enough to dine at both Victoria & Albert's and Jiko last year. Jiko was very good, but Victoria & Albert's was definitely better food and much more romantic.

Victoria & Albert's can be a budget buster, but if there is any way you can swing it I'd go with that.

There's also Cinderella's Royal Table (of course for us that is a must as we had a Cinderella themed wedding) you could also ask to get the table for two by the window, during the day the view is nice, but at night it is amazing.
