Going in August with hubby and 2 year old. Which dinner would make sense with having a morning at Epcot (having lunch at Via Napoli) - 1900 Park Fare or LTT? Same question applies with next day after having a morning at HS (with breakfast at Topolino’s) - 1900 park fare or LTT. Trying to see which dinner is better depending on the day. Plan is morning at parks, going back to The Contemporary after lunch for swim/nap…evening is open for both nights. Thank you!

Where do you plan to be in the evening? I'm guessing LTT is short for Liberty Tree Tavern in the MK? If you plan to be in the MK then I would go there. If you have no plans to go to MK then I would suggest 1900 Park Fare.

Traveling outside the parks for dining takes time. We did a trip once where I realized about half way through that I had booked too many ADRs at resorts outside the parks and it felt like we were spending a lot of time in transit to ADRs.

I would go to LTT whichever evening you plan to go to MK. You will need to be aware that Aug in MK is also party season so depending on your dates, you will need to go to MK on a non-party day which may make your decision for you.

Yes, Liberty Tree Tavern…thank you!! We are open so I’m trying to see which evening is better to go to MK..after Epcot or HS? Not sure which has less to do for my 2 year old!

HS is always a shorter park for us, even with older kids (including one who loves Galaxy’s Edge). So I would say do MK after HS. However, we are Epcot people! We love Epcot and always have found plenty to do there, even when the kids were little. In addition to rides, we enjoy hanging out in World Showcase, looking in shops and enjoying the countries’ atmospheres. Getting the kids to nap in the stroller while we enjoyed an adult beverage was always nice, lol. If you’re mostly ride people, Epcot won’t take as long for you.

Thank you so much!

While I do not know your child. August and 2YO usually = back in the room by 6-7. I would personally plan later leisurely lunch’s at the places you want to eat as your break during the peak heat around 1:30-2. If you get those rare mid upper 70 days in August, we had almost an entire week one July although we mostly go later August, Dinner plans worked great.

Thank you! Could you recommend any great character lunches in all 4 parks?

MK - Crystal Palace. I, personally, don't think meeting the princesses in CRT is worth the (much!) higher price, especially when you can see them for less in Epcot
Epcot - Akershus in Norway, if you want to meet princesses, but you can't go wrong with Garden Grill either. It was one of the best character interactions we've ever had!
DHS - Hollywood & Vine. Food's nothing to write home about, but the characters are fun
DAK - Tusker House - Mickey & friends in safari attire; food that kids will like, but also wider variety for adults (one of our faves)

I love Crystal Palace with a toddler! The characters are so sweet with little kids and it’s not loud and crazy. We had our son’s first birthday cake there and it’s such a great memory.

Our two year old took long stroller naps in the park so that worked out great. She was rested then for a late character dinner in the parks. She liked Mickey Mouse at that age so she really enjoyed Hollywood & Vine.
