Help with restaurant/food choices! Where do you like to eat?

I really like the French Market, and our whole family loves Taste Pilot's for a good burger or chicken sandwich. :) We also like Pizza Port, DBF and I get a side salad, a slice of pizza, and a plate of pasta and share. We all eat some of the pasta and salad and I eat some of DBF's pizza. We liked the Luckey Fortune Cookery, we ate there right after it opened and YUM!!!! It was sooooooooo good!!!!!!!!!! Huge portions, rice was delish and not mushy, chicken was good and not dry at all.
As others have said Rancho, Cafe Orleans, BB, CC are all really good, we like Storyteller's a lot as well.

I feel confident that DLR would have the same variety of restaurants that WDW has if we had more space to build them! It is a dilemma that can't be helped, sadly. Four parks and an abundance of WDW hotels vs. 3 hotels and 2 parks in DLR/Anaheim leaves us with the short end of the stick in terms of dining options. There is just not enough room.

However, what makes me mad is that the old space for what was Yamabuki in the PPH is now without a restaurant, and I think they need to put something in there to expand the dining horizons. Not only did that add one more restaurant to DLR's selection, but it was also Japanese cuisine, which provided more variety than just the standard amusement park fare. Hopefully, when all the changes are completed in DCA, we will see at least one more table service place to eat and maybe another counter service option.

So, my choices for places I like to eat are:

In DCA:

Wine Country Trattoria (table service - serves wine, yummy meatball sandwiches, huge pizzetta salad and orange sorbet)

Taste Pilots Grill (counter service)

In DL:

Carnation Cafe (table service - love the meat loaf stack, the Matterhorn Sundae and the apple pie a la mode; they also serve a Mickey waffle for breakfast)

Bengal BBQ (counter service - good skewers)

River Belle Terrace (counter service - for the Mickey pancakes)

Plaza Inn (buffeteria style - very pretty restaurant inside; good selection; great chicken)

Blue Ribbon Bakery - (counter service - delicious, messy, warm, gooey cinnamon rolls and tasty coffee drinks)

In DLH:

Goofy's Kitchen character meal (huge variety of food in the buffet for both breakfast and dinner, and classic characters)

In GCH:

Storytellers Cafe - (table service - but NOT the Critter Breakfast character meal, though they do serve a large Mickey waffle for breakfast; I prefer Storytellers for lunch and dinner with no characters! The spaghetti is SOOOO delicious!!)

In Downtown Disney (all table service):

Rainforest Cafe (yummy chicken fried chicken)
Naples Ristorante (good food, good service)
ESPN Zone (yummy chicken tenders or fingers - can't recall - and thick milkshakes)

WOW!! Thanks so much for all of your ideas and suggestions. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Little bummed that the food isn't as good as WDW, but I know we won't starve!!! Too bad they don't have 50's Prime Time pot roast!! I could eat that everyday!!!

I do remember years ago eating in NOS and having BBQ. It was really great, but no idea what the place was called.

Thanks again!!:thumbsup2

I think you were thinking of Bengal Barbeque in Adventureland, very near NOS. They are yummy beef or chicken BBQ on a stick!
