I've been to WDW numerous times (CBR, YC, Swan, Dolphin, CS) the YC is my favorite due to location so far. However, next trip will be with my GF who has never been but a HUGE Disney fan.

Thinking either BC or a monorail resort. She's Hawaiian so I'm not sure about Poly.

Any thoughts on where to stay? My goal is to want her to make numerous trips back :)

Thanks.

I would recommend either the BWI or CR.

BWI is a beautiful resort, with lovely rooms & some great views (of the Boardwalk or of the gardens & even the Eiffel Tower), fun nightlife on the Boardwalk, wonderful dining options, and incredibly friendly CMs. And, of course, the wonderful location close to Epcot and DHS.

If you (or she) prefer a monorail resort, I'd go with CR. It's the quintessential Disney resort, awesome views of MK or the lake, big & modern rooms, and fantastic restaurants. Plus MK is just a stroll away.

Good luck deciding -- I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter where you stay!

When it comes to the Monorail Resorts I would recommend the Contemporary because their rooms are the largest among the Deluxe Resorts and they are the only one with a walkway to the Magic Kingdom. Plus when taking their Buses they are always the 1st stop both going and coming back from the parks when they share with the Polynesian and Grand Floridian.

Now since you mentioned the Yacht Club is your favorite due to it's location have you also thought of trying the Boardwalk Inn? In my opinion they have the best theme/atmosphere among any of the WDW Resorts and I am sure you know they have walkways to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Plus in terms of distance they are the closest resort to Hollywood Studios.

We've stayed at the Contemporary and the Poly. We would go back to the Poly in a heartbeat, but we wouldn't go back to the Contemporary. We are not fans of the theme of the GF and haven't stayed there. If the Poly is out, I would go with the Beach Club; this is the one deluxe we still want to try (we recently stayed at AKL and OKW and fell in love with them, so it may be awhile before we get to the BC). This way you'll be close to the Boardwalk, Epcot, etc.

Hard to judge re: the Poly, it's not really authentic, and tropical might not be that exciting for someone from Hawaii. I know I'm less interested in WL because it's a lot like what I already know from staying in mountain lodges.
If you like YC, why not stay there this first trip w/ your gf? You like it, it has a wonderful pool and is very close to 2 parks. It's quite a romantic stroll from Epcot after illuminations along the sandy beach to the YC, plus there's marshmallow roasting in the evenings. You can always monorail from the front of Epcot over to MK.
Have fun deciding.
