Help with reservations

We have two character dinning vouchers already purchased. We plan to do plaza inn before opening and gooofys kitchen for dinner.

We also want to do blue bayou lunch for fantasmic, carnation cafe, and lamplight lounge.

We have 4 park days. I was thinking of doing goofys the day before when we arrive, but our flight doesn’t get in until 615pm.

I’m feeling like if I make reservations for all those we might feel over booked. Thoughts?

Assuming that your flight arrives on time and there are no delays with your luggage, what time would you arrive at DLR? You wouldn't want to be exhausted for your MM (the next morning, right?). Definitely keep BB for F! -- you'll really enjoy that package and the F! viewing area. We love CC and had a really fun time at LL (and I wouldn't want to waste tons of your park time waiting as a walk up there). So, maybe go ahead and make all your reservations, then see how you feel about GK the day before? You can cancel then, if you think you need to let something go. Could you switch GK to your last night if necessary?

If you cancel reservations at least a day in advance, you won't be charged the $10 per person no show fee. So, I would go ahead and make the reservations that you can and then cancel as needed. While walk-ups are possible, they aren't always available (especially for dining packages) or the wait times might be very long (>1 hour). If you go right at opening, Lamplight might be possible without a reservation (they don't seem to take many reservation). The only one that I would be kind of leery to make is the one for the arrival day because you never know if your flight will be delayed, if there will be traffic, etc. Is your schedule flexible enough that you could slot in Goofy's on a different day if you get in to late or they aren't taking walk-ups?
