Help with renting points

May want to rent my points that have to be used by nov 3. How do I go about doing this? Is it safe? Thanks.

You can contact a broker like David's who will find a renter for you or you could go on the rent/trade board here.

You could just put your points out there for rent at a price per point or make a reservation and rent it as a confirmed reservation.

Ah okay -- holding account changes everything.

Probably your best option is to list the points with David right now -- as distressed points because you can only make reservations 60 days out.

I say right now because the longer you wait, the tougher availability gets. There is probably little or nothing already for the period of Thanksgiving week through New Years, so your best chance would probably be to try to rent in October/early November.
